My Boyfriend Came Back From The War, Olia Lialina, 1996

- What I think the artist is trying to show in this site is the disconnection between her and her significant other who is away at war. I'm taking away from this site with a very literal attitude, thinking that this is website is basically a dialogue between her and her lover when he returns from war and finds out that she/he has cheated (wasn't really made clear who) and that everything is somehow made better and by then end of the links, he/she asks the other for their hand in marriage.
The structure of the website is interesting. You start off with a few grainy pictures and I can almost not make out what they are exactly. You are then directed through a series of questions and answers that barely make any sense because they are completely random.
